Through Tranquility and Turmoil

In the still of night
How good To sit
In the shadow of your hand
To gaze upon
The flow
of
My stream of time
From the wellsprings of genesis
Along
The riverbeds of my life
On to
The sea of your eternity

In the storm of night
How good to sit
In the shelter of your wing
To gaze upon
The fall
Of
The leaves of my days
From my tree of life
In to
The chasm of your embrace.

The drift
Of
The leaves of my days
From the tree of life
Along
The winds of my saga
On to
The chasm of your embrace.
